You do have a Mark Knopfler sound for definite. I must say, I really like his music. Although it's got his flavour, you definitely have something different. Your voice is quite similar though. Nice one mate. Did you get anywhere with the record labels mate?

ok it took a loong time but i listened to all of your songs, they're awesome! i really like So Called Paradise, Love song, Little Freedom, Riverwalk of Life, keep up making good music :)
